วันนี้มาดูเรื่องของการ Paraphrase, Paraphrase เเละ Paraphrase Introduction ของ Writing Task 1...การ Paraphrase คือการใช้คำศัพท์ใหม่หรือรูปประโยคใหม่ ในการสื่อสารข้อความในประโยคเดิม ซึ่งเป็นทักษะที่สำคัญมากในการสอบ Writing ทั้ง Task 1 เเละ 2 เเต่วันนี้จะขอโฟกัสที่ Task 1 เป็นหลักก่อน
ตัวอย่างการ Paraphrase
โจทย์: The graph below shows the proportion of the population aged 65 and over between 1940 and 2040 in three different countries.
Paraphrasing:
1.The graph below shows--> The graph below demonstrates
2.the proportion of the population--> the percentage of people
3.aged 65 and over--> aged 65 or higher
4.between 1940 and 2040--> over a period of 100 years from 1640 to 2040
5.in three different countries--> in various countries
สิ่งที่ได้คือ The graph below shows the proportion of the population aged 65 and over between 1940 and 2040 in three different countries.
= The graph below demonstrates the percentage of people aged 65 or higher over a period of 100 years from 1640 to 2040 in various countries.
เราสามารถ Paraphrase ได้หลายเเบบ เเต่ที่สำคัญคือ ความถูกต้องเเละความรวดเร็วในการ Paraphrase (ไม่ควรเกิน 30 วินาทีถึง 1 นาที) เพราะการ Paraphrase โจทย์ เป็นเพียงเเค่จุดเริ่มต้นของ Task 1 เรายังต้องเขียน Overall trends, Details, and Conclusion ซึ่งจะใช้เวลารวมกันไม่เกิน 12-15 นาที่
สุดท้ายอยากฝากไว้ว่า "Practice makes Perfect" ถ้าหากเราฝึกฝนทำสิ่งใดสิ่งหนึ่งมากพอ อย่างถูกต้อง เราจะกลายเป็นผู้เชี่ยวชาญในสิ่งนั้นๆ ไม่เว้นเเม้เเต่การสอบ IELTS!!!
