วันนี้อยากจะมาสอนวิธีเขียน Intro ของ Writing Task 1ในเวลา 2 นาทีบ้างครับ เพราะเราควรทำ Writing task 1 จบในเวลา 10-15 นาที เพื่อที่จะได้มีเวลาไปโฟกัส Task 2 ซึ่งมีน้ำหนักคะแนนมากกว่า Task 1
คำถาม:
The table below shows the numbers of visitors to Ashdown Museum during the year before and the year after it was refurbished. The charts show the result of surveys asking visitors how satisfied they were with their visit, during the same two periods.
Intro:
The table illustrates the figures for travelers visiting Ashdown museum before and after refurbishment, while the pie charts compare the satisfaction level in both years. It is clearly seen that the total number of visitors and the satisfaction rate increased over the given periods.
สาเหตุที่เราสามารถเขียน Intro ได้ภายใน 2 นาทีนั้น เป็นเพราะว่า 1. เราแค่ Paraphrase โจทย์ที่ให้มา 2. เราแค่เขียน Overview ในประโยคที่ 2 ซึ่งถ้าเราฝึกอย่างถูกวิธีมามากพอ เราจะสามารถทำทั้งสองขั้นตอนได้ภายใน 2 นาที
ลองเทียบการ Paraphrase กันชัดๆ

Vs.
1. The table illustrates the figures for travelers visiting Ashdown museum
2. during the year before and the year after it was refurbished.
Vs.
2. before and after refurbishment,

ต่อมาเราต้องเขียน Overview ซึ่งก็จะง่ายมาก เพราะเราแค่ต้องพูดภาพรวมว่ามีอะไรเพิ่มขึ้นหรือลดลง หรือมีการเปลี่ยนแปลงอะไรที่เห็นได้ชัด
= It is clearly seen that the total number of visitors and the satisfaction rate increased over the given periods.
